POSITION DESCRIPTION

Summary: With close supervision, serves as an on-call member of a classroom team, providing instructional services to assigned students.

Essential Functions:

1. Provides direct care to assigned students.
2. Implements established daily student schedules, as assigned under the directive of case manager and/or lead program assistant.

Work Schedule: On an on-call basis. Assignments are usually made on a daily basis at 6 1/2 hours per day during the traditional classroom period

Qualifications:

1. Basic knowledge in language arts both verbal and written.
2. Requires minimum 18 years of age.
3. Basic knowledge of health care methods.
