Program Models

Programs at The Maryland School for the Blind (MSB) are carefully structured to meet the academic and developmental needs and interests of students. By remaining truly student-centered and relying on sound curriculums, these program models have been developed and proven effective in a wide range of settings and content areas.

MSB offers four program models for students:

SOLAR-  Students with communications and relation disorders, autism.

LIFE-  Students with severe disabilities including deafblindness.

EAP
- Academic students whose primary disability is visual impairment.

Early Childhood-  Infants and toddlers from newborn to age 5 in their homes and on campus.
